Community Guidelines

Child Safety

The protection of minors is our highest priority. We apply the strictest standards to any content involving or affecting children.

• No sexual, suggestive, or exploitative content involving anyone under 18
• No grooming behavior — attempts to build inappropriate relationships with minors
• No sharing personal information of minors without parental consent
• No content that normalizes or glorifies harm to children

Violations are immediately reported to law enforcement and NCMEC. There is no appeal for CSAM violations.

Hate Speech & Discrimination

DotZ does not tolerate content that dehumanizes individuals or promotes hatred against protected groups.

• No content promoting hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or caste
• No slurs, dehumanizing language, or symbols associated with hate groups
• No content that calls for discrimination against any protected group

• Artistic, educational, or documentary content that discusses these topics critically is permitted with appropriate context
• Counter-speech and raising awareness about discrimination is encouraged

Harassment & Bullying

Everyone on DotZ deserves to participate without fear of targeted abuse.

• No targeted harassment, threats, or intimidation of any individual
• No content designed to shame, humiliate, or degrade specific users
• No coordinated campaigns of abuse against any person
• No doxxing — sharing personal information (address, phone number, workplace) of any individual without consent
• No content encouraging others to harass a specific person

Violence & Graphic Content

DotZ prohibits content that glorifies, promotes, or depicts graphic violence.

• No graphic or gratuitous violence against humans or animals
• No content that promotes, glorifies, or incites acts of terrorism or mass violence
• No content that depicts real-world gore or death for shock value

• News, documentary, and educational content covering violent events may be permitted with appropriate content warnings

Dangerous & Harmful Behavior

We remove content that promotes or facilitates real-world harm, physical or mental.

• No content promoting or depicting self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide
• No challenges or trends that put participants at risk of physical harm
• No instructions for creating weapons, explosives, or dangerous substances
• No content encouraging the use of illegal drugs in ways that risk harm

Content about mental health struggles shared for support or awareness, or harm reduction messaging, may be permitted with appropriate context.

Sexual Content & Adult Material

DotZ is a general-audience platform and does not permit sexually explicit content.

• No nudity or sexually explicit imagery, video, or audio
• No sexually suggestive content presented in a way designed to arouse
• No solicitation of sexual content or services

• Artistic nudity (e.g., classical art, medical education) may be permitted with context
• Body-positive and health-related content is welcome when tastefully presented

Spam, Misinformation & Inauthentic Behavior

Authentic interactions are the foundation of DotZ. We prohibit artificial manipulation of the platform.

• No use of bots, scripts, or automation to inflate views, likes, followers, or comments
• No repetitive or mass-posting behavior designed to spam feeds
• No coordinated inauthentic behavior, including fake accounts or astroturfing
• No deliberate spread of health misinformation that could endanger users
• No synthetic media (deepfakes) presented as real without clear disclosure

Intellectual Property

Respect the creative work of others. You may only post content you have the right to share.

• No uploading content that infringes copyright — including music, video clips, or images you do not own or have not licensed
• No impersonating other creators or brands in a misleading way

If your content is removed due to a copyright claim, you may contact [email protected] to dispute the claim.

Reporting & Enforcement

DotZ relies on a combination of automated systems and human moderation to enforce these Guidelines. Violations may result in:

• Content removal or muting
• Temporary account restrictions
• Permanent account termination
• Referral to law enforcement where required by law

To report a violation, use the in-app Report button on any post, profile, or message. For urgent safety concerns, email [email protected].

Appeals against moderation decisions may be submitted to [email protected] within 30 days of the action.
