Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the DotZ mobile application or website (collectively, "Services"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

These Terms apply to all users of DotZ, including registered users, visitors, and content creators. DotZ reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use following notice of changes constitutes acceptance.

Eligibility

To use DotZ, you must meet all of the following conditions:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be barred from using DotZ under applicable Indian or international law
• Not have previously had a DotZ account terminated for policy violations

Users between 13 and 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to use DotZ. By registering, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Account Registration & Security

To access most DotZ features, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information as needed
• Keep your credentials confidential and not share your account with others
• Immediately notify DotZ of any unauthorized access or suspected breach at [email protected]
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

DotZ reserves the right to reclaim or modify usernames that are inactive, misleading, infringe trademarks, or violate our policies.

Permitted Use & User Conduct

DotZ is a platform for creativity, entertainment, and social connection. You may use DotZ only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to:

• Treat all users with respect and dignity
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws
• Use DotZ features only as intended and described in the app
• Report violations of these Terms using in-app reporting or by emailing [email protected]

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on DotZ and may result in immediate account termination and legal action:

• Posting, sharing, or promoting content that is sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic
• Uploading or distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content exploiting minors
• Engaging in hate speech, discrimination, or incitement based on race, religion, gender, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation
• Threatening, harassing, bullying, or stalking other users
• Uploading malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm systems or users
• Impersonating another person, brand, or entity in a misleading manner
• Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with DotZ without authorization
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to DotZ systems, accounts, or infrastructure
• Selling, buying, or transferring DotZ accounts
• Circumventing or attempting to bypass safety or moderation systems
• Using DotZ to conduct unlawful commercial transactions or pyramid schemes
• Uploading content that violates third-party intellectual property rights

Content Ownership & License

You retain full ownership of the content you create and upload to DotZ ("User Content"). By posting content on DotZ, you grant DotZ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to:

• Host, store, and display your content within the DotZ platform
• Reproduce, modify, and create derivative works solely for the purposes of operating and improving the platform
• Distribute your content to other users within the DotZ ecosystem

This license is limited to the operation of DotZ and does not grant DotZ the right to sell your content or license it to third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to the platform. You may delete your content or account at any time to revoke this license, subject to any legal holds.

Content Responsibility & Warranties

You are solely responsible for all content you upload, post, transmit, or make available on DotZ. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to post it
• The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
• The content complies with all applicable laws and does not violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
• The content does not contain personally identifiable information of third parties without their consent

Account Termination & Suspension

DotZ reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:

• Violation of these Terms, Community Guidelines, or any other DotZ policy
• Fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity
• Actions that harm other users, DotZ, or the integrity of the platform
• Receipt of multiple substantiated content reports from other users
• Inactivity exceeding 24 consecutive months (with prior notice)

You may appeal a suspension by contacting [email protected] within 30 days of receiving notice. DotZ will review appeals and respond within 14 business days.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

DotZ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DotZ shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities arising from use or inability to use DotZ
• Content posted by other users that you find offensive, harmful, or inaccurate
• Service interruptions, outages, or data loss resulting from technical failures or force majeure events

DotZ's total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use DotZ in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of DotZ shall be resolved as follows:

• Informal Resolution: Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first contact DotZ at [email protected] to attempt good-faith resolution
• Arbitration: Disputes not resolved informally may be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India)
• Jurisdiction: Any court proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India
